3. Secure your item and all of the original packing materials, including return form, copy of the invoice, and all diamond or ring certificates and/or appraisals if applicable, and ship the package in the enclosed plainly wrapped cardboard box. Each item must be returned in the same condition as it was sent, unworn and undamaged. The original Tara SKU tag MUST still be on the merchandise in order for a refund to be processed. We can only issue a gift certificate otherwise. Damaged items due to customer negligence will not be accepted for refund.

4. If your purchase is a certified diamond or ring, the original gemological laboratory certificate that was issued with the diamond needs to be returned as well. This is very important as the diamond certificate has a replacement fee of $500. If the certificate is not returned, then the cost of replacing the certificate will be charged and deducted from your refund or gift certificate.

5. Custom work, special orders, or personalized and engraved items cannot be refunded unless there is an error caused by Tara Fine Jewelry Co., Inc.

6. Send the package by U.S.P.S., United States Postal Service Registered Mail, as this is the safest way to ship high-value items. For your protection, please insure the return item package for the full amount of the invoice plus shipping charges. Tara Fine Jewelry is NOT responsible for items lost or damaged while shipping. Please do not send your package FedEx because they will not insure jewelry.
